Slimjet 39 Support for Windows 7 and/or 8.1?
Re: Slimjet 39 Support for Windows 7 and/or 8.1?
Slimjet Version History has been revised to reflect the change in system requirements beginning with 39.0 Beta, and now states that it is based on Chromium 111 rather than 110 as previously noted.

Will the developer be adding critical security updates to those of us stuck on ver 38 like was done for Win XP users? Gotta be a lot of folks still using Win7... We have three Win7Pro machines in the house and all have SJ installed.

Historically, with the Legacy support in Slimjet 10 for Windows XP & Vista users, I recall the version number incrementing as they released updates. As best I know, they did 6 minor updates and then stopped.
So, most likely, if an update, security or otherwise, comes out that can be appropriately applied to the 38.0.9.0 (Chromium 109), they will do so.
Keep in mind. With support slowing and stopping from other sources. There will be minimal update action they can do.

For those of you who wear aluminum foil hats, the voices lie, don't believe them!
Mostly my replies are about Windows OS. If not I try to remember to specify Linux.
