Hello, world!
I have an issue with disabling Java in Slimjet. Strangely enought, even though I delete Java completely from notebook, this website says it's on!

How is this possible to disable it?
Thank you!

Re: How to disable Java?
The browser is still telling websites that it is enabled to use java.
• You can make site by site java choice using the dark blue toolbar icon that has the Arrow pointing down at a blue flat dessert dish shaped surface. The icon is labeled Content Settings. I don't know if it is displayed by default but I think it is not. To display the icon follow the instructions here How To Open the Customize Dialog Window
• You can make global changes to the java settings after clicking the gear icon in the upper right and opening the Settings page, scroll to Privacy and click the Content Settings button.

Re: How to disable Java?
You answered how to disable Javascript, but I'm talking about Java.
Using Content settings I can turn off Javascript, but I need in to be ON, although Java - off.
If works in Chrome - http://prntscr.com/b9fx9k
But in SlimJet I have this - http://prntscr.com/b9fxod
I want my Anonymity in SlimJet to be 100%, but Java (not Javascript) doesn't allow it.

This is the weirdest part! Yes, I have done it!dev wrote:have you tried uninstalling java from your computer
I did everything possible from this article - https://whoer.net/blog/article/how-to-d ... g-systems/
How can it be possible at all? Does SlimJet have its own Java?

Re: How to disable Java?
try running the extended tests on whoer.net
I think the browser is reporting java, but in reality it doesn't actually do anything with java requests
in other words the quick test is saying there is a security deficiency related to java because the browser reports Java, but no security threat is possible since Java is not present
