Greetings!
I am a new member of Slimjet Web Browser Online Forum. I am also new to using your browser and the standard features.
However, I have tested your free Youtube converter, and while attempting to download a YouTube video, it froze as well as all open tabs. Slimjet crashed and I was forced to exit the browser.
When I re-opened Slimjet browser, all tabs were gone and any information I was working on was lost.
Is there a work around or a fix for this problem?
Thank you,
softeyes

Re: Youtube Converter Crashes Browser
this is an unusual problem
If the problem persists you can work around by using a third party extension for youtube downloads from the chrome extension store.
Before doing that, be sure you allowed enough time after starting the youtube video before trying for the download. I try to allow about 30 seconds and I stop the video as well before clicking the button.

Thank you for your reply.
My thoughts: Slimjet Browser offers a "standard" feature included within their browser called "Youtube Download Video Converter." This free, standard feature need to "work" without any guess work.
I'm very familiar with finding, downloading and using a 3rd party YouTube source. However, why would I do so when using Slimjet's great feature!
I appreciate you sharing your tips! Other browser users can see if your tips will work for them, while the Slimjet developers work on "why" does their browser crash with their "Youtube Download Video Converter" ... let's hope an administrator or develop staff will find this post!

Send the developers a crash report that helps them more than a forum post
