"Show dedicated search box" only for current window initialy

Post by scott092707 »

Initially, changing the status of the checkbox for "Show dedicated search box" only affects the current window, and does not affect any other windows.
When I first set this to "checked", it brought in the box for the current window, but when I went to another window it was not there.

All windows now have it, so apparently the setting is applied to all windows when F-S starts up with the option checked.

I just experimented with removing the checkmark, and the current window lost the search box, but all other windows still had it.
(I also, on a whim, removed the checkmark for "Show search engine drop down button", and the button disappeared for ALL windows, not just the current one.
Restoring it also restored it for all windows.)

All is apparently OK after re-starting. It is only the current session that doesn't send the change to all windows.
