I think 1.1.x remains a Beta release which is not widely notified.

I make extensive use of PDF files. I have noticed that some are not searchable in any PDF reader not just Slimjet.

I'd guess pepper made a registry entry when invoked from the command line that sets it as default until the next command line that would turn it off as default

Thanks for your feedback. We will make the navigation bar a little more customizable down the road. However, as to the full status bar, I am not sure it will be desired by many users.
