An errant click was my first thought. But then an hour later the page appeared on my other profile-instance as I was watching, where only yahoo mail was open and I wasn't doing anything.
That's the name, but I don't know about firefox. It was a chrome extension.

Re: Ad for downloader extension
That's what I thought, and I appreciate that. The most probable explanation is another extension is doing so.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Ad for downloader extension
On both the profiles I regularly use I've gotten a full page ad today for Video Downloader Helper. I'm trying to figure out where this came from. I don't have the extension installed. I wouldn't install it now anyway, after this intrusion. Perhaps another extension spawned the page? SJ doesn't do th...

Re: Page didn't update
I'm beginning to think this is an ebay bug. I've had many times when they randomly change my sort order on the fly, irrespective of the url spec. The wrong sort order will produce a static page. I think that's what must have happened here.

Re: video stutter
I guess that most of the browsers aren't terribly good at this these days; I was surprised that IE was markedly better. For the record, the other netbook with speed problems had a different problem - a LAN driver was messing up somehow, causing System to take a constant 10-13% of resources. Thanks, ...

Re: Page didn't update
Sorry, I thought you were referring to an autorefresh extension, which I don't have. And the page does not autorefresh on the server side.

Re: Page didn't update
I don't use autorefresh, if that's what you mean. I often don't know the line between SJ and Blink regarding features or bugs. I doubt f5 has anything to do with it. I don't clear cache when closing SJ, but CCleaner does it for me when shutting down each day.

Re: Page didn't update
No, I mean repeated manual F5 reloads did not update the pages' contents. These are pages I view many times every day, and they never did this before. It seems something was stuck. I do nothing special with my cache.

Page didn't update
I never encountered this before. I'm on v. 1.3.0. All my ebay search pages were stuck all morning. Finally I checked the same url in another browser, and I saw that this was not an ebay problem. So I cycled SJ, and the problem was gone. I don't see any setting, as IE has, for when to check pages for...

Re: video stutter
Actually, I see that there is a stable version, which is what I have been using, so I guess the point is moot.
