I sometimes go to websites that tell me my ip address, ua and those that check for out out of date plugins/extensions. Ok well I did today ( https://www.whatismybrowser.com/ ) and it's telling me that I'm still on Chrome v36. So is this true or what, because on chrome://version/ I get v37.0.2062.94 ...

Well to rule out any foul play, I would first run a quick virus/malware scan. Then I would clear my cookies (history) in Slimjet to have a fresh and clean start at startup. But if that doesn't resolve your issue (slow startup) you could always give CCleaner a go. And if none of those work, you might...

Ok, I will next time. And the issue is no longer occurring, but I do believe that there's still some kinks to work out in the youtube downloader.

More tab options for me, like maybe an incognito tab added to Slimjets menu or to the right click context menu. Another I would like to see is an reopen closed tab like they have in CoolNovo, Coowon and 360 browser.

No, it's just not you. I also get that on my SJ portable and the desktop SJ. But to be honest I like it that way.
